Jeff Miller
Hi, I am Jeff Miller. I started journal writing in high school and was on the yearbook staff. After an enlistment in the U.S. Army I enrolled in college. I joined the literary magazine staff as a layout editor and took every creative writing class they offered. I graduated with an A.A. degree from Saint Petersburg College. I became interested in Science Fiction/Fantasy/Horror in my early twenties and produced a newsletter called The Dead Temples of the Moon. I've contributed writing to The People of Innsmouth and Guitar Player Magazine and have published several short stories on the web and in print.
I spent six years working with a tax service then decided I needed to make a change in my life. I became an over the road truck driver. My nights were spent confined to the small sleeper of a semi tractor-trailer so I found myself doing what I have always done when bored... writing. After a few years of developing my writing skills in the back of a truck I realized that the only thing I have done consistently throughout my life is write.
When I first started writing, the web itself was still a product of science fiction. In those days if one wanted to get published he had to go through the print media. Now there are so many opportunities for freelance writers on the web. It's an exciting time to be a writer!
